Growing up without a father is a challenge. Development of life skills, values, confidence, and making positive decisions becomes more difficult for young men without a father’s involvement. MSOC seeks to provide a setting for male mentors to match up with young men and assist in their personal and professional development. Through group activities, young men will build friendships with their peers who have similar experiences. These relationships will benefit not only the young men and mentors, yet their overall communities will become stronger as well.
